    Smriti Mandhana Is Now One Among The Top Of T20I Batting Rankings

    The Indian squad, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, is set to host the West Indies in a white-ball series consisting of three T20 International matches followed by three One-Day Internationals, scheduled from December 15 to 27, 2024.

    ICC Women’s T20I Batting Rankings

    Indian vice-captain Smriti Mandhana delivered an outstanding performance, scoring a half-century (54 off 33 balls) in the opening T20I against the West Indies. This notable achievement has propelled her to the 3rd position in the rankings, garnering 741 points. Additionally, Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur contributed an unbeaten (13* off 11 balls) in the same match, which has seen her rise to a shared 10th place with former New Zealand captain Sophie Devine (641 points).

    Jemimah Rodrigues, the 24-year-old Indian middle-order batter, showcased her talent with a remarkable half-century (73 off 35 balls), earning her the Player of the Match distinction in the first T20I. Her exceptional performance has led to her climbing six spots to the 15th position, collecting 619 points.

    Deandra Dottin, the 33-year-old West Indies all-rounder, exhibited her power-hitting abilities with a blistering half-century (52 off 28 balls), pushing to dominate the game in the 1st T20I against India. Her impressive display has resulted in a substantial advancement, moving up 21 positions to the 39th spot (493 points). Meanwhile, 23-year-old West Indian all-rounder Qiana Joseph also made her mark by contributing (49 off 33 balls) and has risen 22 places to the 65th position (388 points).

    ICC Women’s T20I Bowling Rankings

    India’s seasoned all-rounder Deepti Sharma recorded commendable match figures of (4-0-21-2) during the first T20I against the West Indies, moving her up a couple of places to secure the 2nd spot in the rankings with 748 points. Radha Yadav, a 24-year-old left-arm spinner, also shone with her bowling performance, achieving match figures of (4-0-28-2) which allowed her to climb one spot to the 19th position (647 points).

    West Indies’ Karishma Ramharack had an impressive outing with the ball, recording remarkable figures of (4-0-18-2) in her spell and advancing six spots to the 20th position (643 points). Titas Sadhu, the promising 20-year-old Indian pacer, also had an impactful performance in the match, finishing with figures of (4-0-37-3) and has climbed 16 places to equal the 52nd position (461 points) alongside South Africa’s Chloe Tryon.

    ICC Women’s T20I All-rounder Rankings

    In the all-rounder rankings, Deandra Dottin, with her combined performance of (4-0-37-1) with the ball and a brisk half-century (52 off 28 balls) with the bat, has made a significant leap by moving up 50 spots to share the 50th position (87 points) with Fran Jonas of New Zealand and Pakistan’s Omaima Sohail.

    Qiana Joseph also contributed to her team with both bat and ball, scoring 49 (33 balls) and bowling a couple of overs, resulting in her advancing 21 places to share the 53rd position (86 points) with Eimear Richardson from Ireland, Australia’s Megan Schutt, and Zimbabwe’s Precious Marange. Furthermore, Karishma Ramharack increased her position by four spots to share the 62nd position (77 points) with Sophie Molineux from Australia and Arlene Kelly from Ireland.
