Eight teams and over 100 athletes from the USA and Canada are anticipated to take part in the largest women’s cricket event in the USA.
The Blazers Cricket Academy (BCA) is thrilled to declare the first-ever Blazers Bay Area Open National Women’s T20 tournament. Approved by USA Cricket, this event will take place during the Labor Day weekend in the Bay Area, California. This milestone event will showcase more than 100 female cricketers, making it the most extensive women’s cricket tournament ever conducted in the USA.
As a part of the East Bay Blazers—Western Division Champions of the 2023 Minor League Cricket Tournament—BCA is dedicated to promoting women’s cricket through this national endeavor, creating a stage for high-level competition and enhancing the sport’s visibility.
MethodHub, a prominent software services firm based in the USA, serves as the title sponsor for this esteemed event. The Northern California Cricket Association (NCCA), the oldest and largest leather ball cricket league in the USA, backs the tournament by providing facilities and grounds. Marin Cricket Club, a vital member of NCCA, is acknowledged for its contributions to this inaugural tournament.
Ninja Caster will provide live streaming of the event, allowing fans to witness the matches in real-time. Shan Restaurant located in Santa Clara is the official food sponsor, while Covetit, a company specializing in IT and staffing solutions, is another major sponsor.
